Michael Strahan has made a mark both on and off the field in the NFL, and as a successful TV host. Having spent years in the spotlight, he learned the importance of feeling good in what you wear and developed a love for fashion.
Strahan recently launched his eponymous collection, Michael Strahan featuring men’s tailored clothing and MSX by Michael Stahan, a sportier compliment to his clothing line, both exclusively sold at J.C. Penney.
A SITE THAT BRINGS AN OFFLINE PERSONALITY ONLINE
Most people know Michael Strahan as a former athlete and TV personality, so our challenge was to build a site that brought his offline personality, online while also creating a strong storyline around his label. Michael’s vision for his brand was to design clothing that make you look and feel smart, confident, and cool.
We used that vision as inspiration for the design, and gave the site a masculine, stylish and elevated aesthetic to match the strong imagery and tie in his brand story. To better facilitate, we built a fully mobile responsive site, and custom CMS for the Strahan team to easily update. We also established channels within his site that link externally driving users to the JCPenney site to view and purchase Michael’s clothing line.
