Reading International Inc. is a global owner of US theater brands Angelika Film Center, City Cinemas, Reading Cinemas and Consolidated Theatres. When they approached us about redesigning their brand websites, we jumped at the opportunity.
One of the more recognized Reading brands, Angelika Film Center, recently expanded into several major US cities. In turn, they wanted to enhance their definitive American art house experience with a much needed redesign and a ticketing overhaul.
The fresh face of Angelika Film Center now enables ticket purchasing, browsing through theater locations, showtimes and more. The results are extraordinary with a 24% increase in organic search and a 50% increase in direct search.
Additionally, we redesigned both the City Cinemas and Consolidated Theatres brands, and we developed a powerful back-end platform that gives Reading the flexibility to not only manage all of their US brands, but also their Australian and New Zealand brands.
Our redesign has put Reading International back into the spotlight of American filmgoers. With the desktop sites now live, both the iOS and Android applications will be available for download in the near future. Reading International is at the forefront of the cinema experience, and we are excited to be a contributor to their recent success.
